Kona the Dog needs a home


KONA ~ A handsome 10 year old red smooth, 19 pounds purebred. He has been with the same family since he was adopted at 10 weeks. Surrendered due to not being able to keep the baby and Kona apart. The hard decision for Kona’s best interest is to place him in a home with no small children.




He has spent his life chasing lizards in the yard and lying on any available lap. He barks when someone rings the doorbell, on occasion when he hears another dog barking or when the UPS truck pulls up. He absolutely loves other dogs close to his size but gets nervous around big dogs. He’s been a wonderful dog for a decade and deserves a wonderful home for the next decade. Could you be the one?




Foster mom says he’s very smart, attentive and funny. He picks up on the ways of the household quickly. A little love bug.




He’s neutered, current on vaccinations 

and microchiped.
